HIT Advisors is a Rhode Island based, vendor neutral health care centric organization that provides medical practices on-site consultation, assisting in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementation planning process, and the maximization of these systems for better outcomes.  We assist physicians in the adoption process, on the tools, techniques, and system improvements necessary to meet the ever-changing demands of the health care environment.

Within the realm of electronic health records (EHRs), Quality Partners is a pioneer-identifying EHR implementation as a critical priority and the first in Rhode Island to work with a majority of the state's physician office practices.  The HIT Advisors at Quality Partners not only assess practice readiness to implement an EHR, but also provide support and project management expertise providing the critical "how to" steps to implement and get the most efficient use from an EHR.  No matter where you are in the process, we're there to help you choose the best EHR for your practice.

Experience

The HIT Advisors of Quality Partners is the most experienced Rhode Island based HIT consultancy. Over the last 5 years we have guided over 100 providers in 35 practices towards EHR adoption.  HIT Advisors specializes in practices of 1- 7 providers in PCP, FM, and IM practices. During this process, Quality Partners forged relationships with both local and national EHR vendors. In fact, we drive the dialog with vendors to ensure the product they produce adheres to specifications set forth by physician practices. For example, HIT Advisors worked with vendors to redesign EHR systems to include the appropriate alerts and corresponding text fields required to hold specific information. As a result we have extensive experience with EHR system vendors such as eClinical Works, EpiChart, NextGen, Practice Partner, AllScripts, and Epic.
